Clover Dough

Clover Dough is a way for members to earn money to be put towards certain 4-H events and supplies. Things you can put your Clover Dough towards are, Shavings for fairs, 4-H catalog. Or any 4-H Camp or Conference i.e. State Leadership Conference, Jr. leadership Conference or Horse Camp. Clover Dough is awarded at certain events or performing certain duties.

You can start earning Clover Dough at the September Unit meeting.  All Clover Bucks will be awarded after the May Unit Meeting and must be spent by the June Unit meeting. Since Jr. leadership Conference is early in the 4-H year this is the only Event that can be banked, (credit set aside for the following year.)  Clover Dough used for a 4-H Camp or Conference will awarded at two for one (i.e. double your value).

No cash will be given out. All Clover Dough will be added up at the May Unit Meeting and divided into the Clover Dough budget, this will give us the value of each Clover Dough. Example: if there is $ 200.00 in Clover Dough awarded, but the budget is $100.00, each Clover Dough will be worth .50 cents. The budget will try to be set at an amount to make each Clover Buck worth $ 1.00. No Clover Buck will be worth more than $ 1.00.

Clover Bucks cannot be transferred from one member to another.
