This is a great project for all ages. We explore many aspects growing plants and concentrate on creating planters from found or recycled objects. Last year we did very well at the ESDCJF and Del Mar, winning top honors at both fairs.  During the year we learn about seeds, bulbs, starting plants from cuttings and design. A field trip to Simpson’s is always in order and this year we may be working with the local school on their school garden as a community service project.
